As electronic and radio-electronic devices continue to shrink in size while their power consumption increases, maintaining a prescribed thermal regime has become one of the critical factors ensuring the further advancement of artificial intelligence technologies and large-scale digital data storage systems. These trends necessitate the development of efficient methods for heat removal from heavily loaded radio- and microelectronic systems. In recent years, significant attention has been devoted to the study of droplet cooling systems for surfaces heated to high temperatures. Many experts consider this technology one of the most promising today. However, recent analyses of single-droplet cooling of highly heated structural elements have revealed that cooling efficiency via this method remains relatively low. To enhance the efficiency of heat removal from heated surfaces, additional methods for intensifying heat and mass transfer processes are being explored—among them, acoustic exposure applied to the cooling liquid (water) droplet during its evaporation from a smooth heated plate surface. Yet, to date, insufficient experimental data have been published on heat and mass transfer characteristics during evaporation of single droplets under acoustic influence to justify the practical implementation of acoustic fields as a means of cooling enhancement. Therefore, the objective of this work is to evaluate, based on experimental studies, the influence of acoustic exposure on the characteristics and conditions (evaporation time, surface temperature regime) of single water droplet evaporation from a heated plate. The experimental results demonstrate that acoustic pressure induces significant periodic deformation of the droplet’s shape during evaporation. However, this deformation does not lead to substantial intensification of the evaporation process and, consequently, only marginally enhances the cooling of the heated plate. A minor effect (cooling enhancement of ΔT = 1–1.5 K) was observed under high-temperature conditions (heated plate surface temperature Th = 363 K). The primary conclusion drawn from this study is that acoustic exposure has virtually no meaningful impact on the overall cooling process. Furthermore, the experiments confirm that while the droplet maintains the heated surface at a near-constant temperature, it is incapable of significantly reducing that temperature
