| Summary: | Title screen The arc plasma synthesis method was employed to produce Eu2O3-doped MgO-SrO-ZnO-Al2O3 (MSZA) luminescent ceramics with europium concentrations ranging from 0.1 to 10 wt%. Structural (XRD), microstructural (SEM, optical microscopy), and spectroscopic analyses (PL) were conducted to investigate the influence of Eu2O3 concentration on the phase composition, morphology, and luminescent properties of the synthesized materials. It was established that the plasma melting approach enables rapid (60 s) single-step fabrication of multiphase ceramics comprising SrAl2O4, SrMgAl10O17, and MgAl2O4. In highly doped ceramics (>1 wt% Eu2O3), the formation of EuAlO3 as an individual phase was observed. Zinc oxide acts as a reducing agent, facilitating the stabilization of Eu2+ through the formation of gaseous Zn. Increasing the Eu2O3 concentration up to 1 wt% enhances the photoluminescence intensity, after which concentration quenching leads to a gradual decrease. All synthesized compositions exhibited high color purity (>99%) with characteristic Eu2+ green emission centered at 510 nm. This study demonstrates that the arc plasma melting method has significant potential for the rapid synthesis of Eu2+-stabilized multicomponent oxide luminescent ceramics for advanced coating applications Текстовый файл AM_Agreement |
