Although new definitions of the seven International System (SI) base units, tied to fundamental constants, have significantly increased the precision of measurements, the uncertainty of Newtonian gravitational constant G is still relatively high. The recommended value of G constant is determined through the adjustment procedure carried out by the Committee on Data for Science and Technology (CODATA) task group, which utilizes the conventional least squares method along with Birge ratio assuming a normality and consistency of input data, what is not inherent in the gravitational constant measurements. In this paper, the method of interval fusion with preference aggregation (IF&PA) is proposed to be applied for combining data in adjustment of the gravitational constant. Three versions of the IF&PA were studied and experimentally tested on random synthetic data to select the optimal version for the G adjustment. Then the results of real-life data of the CODATA 2018 adjustment were processed using the selected version. It is shown that the IF&PA method determines the G value with significantly lower uncertainty compared to the conventional method, and does not need any preliminary data transformations or statistical assumptions
