| Summary: | Заглавие с экрана A gold-modified carbon-containing electrode was developed for the voltammetric determination of povidone-iodine in implant coatings. The study optimized electrochemical detection by evaluating the effects of gold deposition time and voltammetric scan range. Gold was electrochemically deposited using a tetrachloroaurate(III) hydrogen solution, with deposition times of 60, 120, and 200 seconds. The optimal scan range was determined to be 0,6…1,4 V, where the highest sensitivity was achieved due to the influence of gold concentration during its anodic dissolution. Electrodes with a 60-second gold deposition time exhibited superior sensitivity compared to those with longer deposition times. The kinetic profile of povidone-iodine release from implant coatings was studied by immersing samples in a phosphate buffer (pH 6,86) for durations ranging from 30 minutes to 36 hours. Results indicated complete release of povidone-iodine within 10 hours. The proposed voltammetric method offers a reliable approach for quantifying povidone-iodine in implant coatings, providing a valuable tool for quality control in pharmaceutical and biomedical applications, particularly for monitoring antimicrobial drug release Текстовый файл |
