К данным особенностям относятся: 1) разный уровень языковой компетенции студентов; 2) спортивные соревнования и сборы; 3) многонациональность групп; 4) трудоустройство. Для эффективной организации учебного процесса в таких условиях автор предлагает поддержку очных практик при помощи комбинированного использования интернет-инструментов, таких как курс, разработанный на онлайн-платформе Moodle, и социальных сетей, например «ВКонтакте» The article represents some peculiarities of organizing a process of teaching foreign languages to Master students at the Department of Physical culture at Tomsk State University. These peculiarities include 1) Different levels of linguistic competence among students, mostly A1, however, there are also some students of B2 level of competence and foreign students who speak English as a second language or official language. Different levels of linguistic competence make most of the students of elementary level and low pre-intermediate level shy and feel uneasy to speak English at the lessons. 2) Sport competitions and trainings, due to which students have to skip a lot of practical lessons. Due to this fact, we must implement an effective way of organizing the process of teaching English as a foreign language and providing support, which will enable students to improve their language skills. 3) Groups are cosmopolitan. Due to this, some students are experts in English. We have to give them an opportunity to study at their own pace without making anybody feel uneasy due to different levels of linguistic competence. 4) Employment of Master students. Most of the students have to work to earn their living. This fact takes their time from studying and visiting practical lessons. To effectively organize the process of teaching English as a foreign language in such a situation, the author suggests combining several Internet-tools. They are a course at the Moodle platform and social networks, such as well-known and most popular networks we have used - VKontakte. Besides recommendations of how to organize the work with Master students of the Physical education department, the author represents the content of the course in Moodle for teaching Master students. The course consists of five blocks. They are: 1) Working with scientific databases; 2) Analysis of the material; 3) Creating a draft of the abstract; 4) Lexical paraphrasing using synonyms and antonyms and ways of grammatical paraphrasing; 5) Final report on the research. The author gives recommendations and examples of tasks in the content of each module, as well as the positive and negative aspects of this type of work organization. The conclusion has been made that a combination of face-to-face studies, using Moodle and social networks can be effective. The author admits that this type of work has been integrated into teaching of English for some time, and can be criticized; however, rational suggestions, judgments and professional opinions are welcomed Текстовый файл |
