Обоснована необходимость концептуализации новой грамотности -смарт-грамотности, как более соответствующей системному характеру проблем, встающих перед современным обществом в условиях развития смарт-технологий. Цель работы - эксплицировать содержание современных социокультурных теорий к осмыслению грамотности, выявить ключевые тенденции в трансформации представлений о грамотности в условиях развития смарт-технологий. В результате исследования выявлены тенденции зарождения нового направления в интерпретации грамотности, для которого характерно утверждение о том, что смарт-технологии формируют иную технико-технологическую реальность, в которой применяются более совершенные инструменты и устройства, радикально меняющие качество жизни. The presented study substantiates the need to conceptualize a new - smart -literacy as more consistent with the systemic nature of the problems facing modern society in the context of the development of smart technologies. The research is relevant because smart technologies are increasingly penetrating into all areas - the production system, education, healthcare, trade, everyday life, etc. In this situation, a new concept of literacy is emerging, which should take into account the nuances that arise in connection with their implementation in various spheres of human life and society. Currently, the theoretical foundations for literacy research have been formed. However, each of the presented directions has both its advantages and disadvantages, which require special consideration and analysis. The work aims to explicate the content of modern approaches to understanding literacy and to identify key trends in the transformation of ideas about literacy in the context of the development of smart technologies. A contradictory picture is shown of the understanding of what smart technologies are: modern research literature contains many approaches to defining the concept of smart technology, and each of them has its own limitations and hidden contradictions, which leaves its mark on the difficulties understanding this phenomenon within the framework of existing literacy theories. In modern Western literacy studies, the introduction of elements of smart technologies into certain areas of life is still viewed more as an experiment with unpredictable results and consequences than as something accomplished and established. As a result of the study, trends in the emergence of a new direction in literacy research have been identified, the proponents of which consider the transition of IT to the state of smart technologies to be a fait accompli. It is characterized by an indication of the need for further understanding of literacy, taking into account the fact that smart technologies are forming a different technical and technological reality, in which more advanced tools and devices are used that radically improve everyone's quality of life.
