На описанном лексическом материале выделяются основные точки интереса Китая к международному положению Ирана, его внешней, внутренней политике и жизни граждан страны. Авторы заявляют об отсутствии конфликта интересов The objective of the present article is the interstate relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The subject of the paper is the news headings concerning Iran, which are published on Xinhuanet.com, the website of main state news agency, Xinhua. Xinhua agency is the official organ of Communist Party of China, so we can say that Xinhua news reflects the official position of CCP and China as a country on any issue which China needs or has to react. The paper consists of brief description of Sino-Iranian relations development history, news headings grouping and its analysis and a conclusion. The Chinese scholars trace contacts between Iran and China back to as early as Han Wudi Emperor’s times, when he sent one of his diplomats to “Western lands” which are assured to be ancient Iran. However, the relations of modern type between China and Iran were officially established in 1971 and had been intensified in the 1990s. The article researches 134 news headings, covering the period from June, 2021 to September, 2021. The headings were divided into a few groups, including international position, internal and foreign policy of Iran, internal life, nuclear issue, economics, military affairs, culture and sport. The described lexical data shows main points of interest of China towards Iran, its foreign and domestic policies and existence of Iranian citizens. The headings show us the following: the main interest for China and thus the biggest amount of headings are devoted to international position of Iran and factors, which could influence its stability. What concerns the internal situation in Iran, China expresses the main interest in issues of Iran oil and gas producing abilities and infrastructure. It shows almost no attention to any other issue of Iran internal life. China also concerns much about the Iran nuclear problem, because it influences directly the international position of Iran and thus can influence abilities of Iran as energy sources supplier for China. The number of mentions of Iran-US relations is almost three times bigger than the number of headings on China-Iran relations. It says that the Iran-US relations are even more important for China, than the relations with China itself. China, in its turn, is ready to develop relations with Iran with great caution, taking into consideration the possible consequences and influence of any steps towards Iran for Chinese relations with other countries in the Persian Gulf region and over the world, such as Israel, Saudi Arabia, USA, etc. Apart from that, China does not show directly its commitment to relations with Iran.
