To increase the resistivity of quartz glass against destruction from hyperspeed solid microparticles, In-Sn-O nanocomposite coatings deposited on the surface using magnetron sputtering. It is established that such coatings, slightly reducing the transparency of glasses in the visible region of the spectrum, but increasing the mechanical properties, lead to an increase in the resistance of glasses against the impact of high-speed iron microparticles
