Summary:Title screen
This paper presents the results of experimental studies into obtaining nanodispersed silicon dioxide from enriched quartz sand in a thermal plasma medium. The features of phase transitions and morphology of nonsized silicon dioxide SiO2 have been established by XRD, IR, PME, and DTA methods. It is shown that the effect of thermal plasma energy on natural silicon dioxide β-quartz leads to the formation of weakly crystallized nanosized silicon dioxide SiO2, where the Si-O bonds in the silicon-oxygen tetrahedra of the amorphous phase are similar to the bonds of α-tridymite.
