Summary:Title screen
The results of an experimental study of the integral evaporation characteristics of water droplets that are present in the composition of an aerosol cloud are described. Parameters, such as the initial radius of the droplets (0.1–0.25 mm), their concentration (0.03–0.1 L/m3), and the temperature of combustion products (573–873 K), are varied. The ranges of variation of the weight rate of water evaporation as function of the concentration of droplets in the aerosol cloud and their initial sizes are established. Approximation expressions for the established dependences are obtained. An approach is proposed for determining the rate of evaporation of aerosol droplets, which takes into account the known values of the evaporation rate of a single droplet.
