Summary:Title screen
The paper is devoted to studying the influence of the structural factor on the fracture toughness of ceramic composite material based on ZrB2, SiC, and MoS2. Materials with a “composite-in-composite” structure and a homogeneous distribution of components in the bulk of the material have been investigated. It was found that a dual composite structure provides a 20% increase in fracture toughness, compared to the traditional approach to forming composite materials by mechanical mixing of components and their homogeneous distribution in the matrix. The results obtained confirm the high prospects of applying structural design methods to increasing the performance characteristics of structural composite materials of known compositions
