Summary:Title screen
The present work devoted to complex investigations of a novel Sm3+ doped Cs4PbBr6 quantum dots borogermanate glass. The crystallization of hexagonal phase Cs4PbBr6 quantum dots in the borogermanate glass matrix was analyzed. The luminescent properties, decay time characteristics, and energy bandgap values of glass at different heat treatment temperatures were recorded. The luminescence properties, bandgap, decay time, and energy transfer mechanism between Sm3+ and Cs4PbBr6 of the glass were investigated. X-ray diffraction and the high-resolution transmission electron microscopy were adopted to characterize the structural and morphological properties of the Cs4PbBr6 borogermanate glass samples doped with 0.1 mol.% Sm3+. The fluorescence intensity ratio was calculated to analyze the optical temperature sensing of the material. At the temperature of 303.15 K, the relative sensitivity value of the 0.1 mol.% Sm3+ doped Cs4PbBr6 borogermanate glass can reach 3.83%K−1, which is maximum. The white light emission of Sm3+ doped Cs4PbBr6 borogermanate glass was realized by increasing the test temperature.
