| Summary: | Заглавие с экрана Статья посвящена 20-летию всероссийских «рельсовых войн», которые явились пиком протестного движения шахтеров в постсоветский период. Рассматриваются основные причины протеста, его основные очаги и последствия. Делается вывод о том, что, несмотря на широкий спектр политических лозунгов участников шахтёрских пикетов, органам власти удалось достичь с ними компромисс посредством социально-экономических уступок и преобразований. The paper is devoted to the 20th anniversary of the All-Russian "rail wars", which became the peak of the protest movement of miners in the post-Soviet period. It considers the main reasons of the protest, its key storm centres and consequences. It draws the conclusion that, despite the wide range of political slogans of the participants in the mines pickets, the authorities succeeded in reaching a compromise with them through socio-economic concessions and reforms.
