The International Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Modern Technologies 2020 (MEMT 2020) was held at Tomsk Polytechnic University, Tomsk. Russia on October 26–30, 2020. MEMT 2020 is a scientific forum where researchers, students and industry professionals exchange ideas, share experience and discuss technical issues in the field of mechanical engineering, material sciences, modelling. The conference was organized partially by personal attendance of participants as well as virtually using Internet communication technologies (Zoom). The conference attendance was organized in compliance with all sanitary standards and safety requirements. The majority of participants attended the Conference personally. It is worth noting that the option of virtual participation allowed expanding significantly the geography and increasing the number of participants. The conference program included as well Online Tutorial Workshop "Advanced Production Technologies", Round Table "Implementation of Technical Disciplines Using Remote Educational Resources" and the workshop for young scientists "Modern Technologies and Equipment". The representatives of such companies as Ariel Corporation, The sessions covered the following topics: • Machine and mechanisms reliability; • Electrical engineering and mechatronics; • New manufacturing technology; • Materials science and nanotechnology in mechanic engineering; • Automation and modeling of engineering processes; • Industrial safety; • Design in mechanic engineering.
