Summary:Title screen
An increase in the share of heavy petroleum reserves relative to light petroleum reserves leads to the need to develop new effective technologies or optimize the existing ones, since the current technological schemes are not suitable for processing heavy hydrocarbon raw materials. During the thermal processing of heavy petroleums, resinous-asphaltenic substances are formed; they negatively affect the entire technological process. At this stage, the information on the conversion of oil components is very limited and does not allow assessing the influence of the oils composition on the structure of RAS generated by them; it is the most important fundamental task for optimizing heavy petroleum processing technologies.
