Application features of the resonant accumulator battery energy converter for high-voltage spacecraft power supply systems are considered. The analysis of the energy converter control method under the discharge limitation current of accumulator battery is done and conditions of soft switching of the converter transistors are determined. Experimental verification of the possibility of stabilizing the output load voltage and the mode of limiting the discharge current subject to a change in discharge accumulator battery voltage are conducted. It is established that the limitation of the discharge current is provided by controlling the rectifier. In the course of the studies it is found that providing a soft switching of the rectifier transistors allows to significantly increase the efficiency of the converter and provides the possibility of its practical application in the high frequency region.
