Internet communication of the medical community is analyzed from the point of view of the universal model of communication. To form a positive professional image, physicians should have professional and communicative competence, focus on the target audience, take into account the peculiarities of Internet communication when creating media texts. It turns out that professional communication on the Internet is due to the general principles of communication in the network : due to the mass, interactivity and spontaneity of Internet communication, the status of the subject and the object of the image changes, the image media text is transformed.
