Summary:Title screen
The article presents a developed, software-implemented and verified two-dimensional mathematical model of the non-stationary process of filling vertical submerged tanks with gaseous UF[6]. Regularity of the UF6 desublimation process was researched by numerical modeling. The results of calculations of the average performance of tanks with a volume of 1.0; 2.0; 2.5; 3.0 and 4.0 m{3} are given at different values of pressure in the desublimation collector and the refrigerant temperature. It is shown that an increase pressure from 8·103 to 10.6 ·10{3} Pa and simultaneous lowering of the refrigerant temperature from 258 to 248 K makes it possible to increases the tanks average performance by 31%.
