Summary:Title screen
The project proposes a technique for predicting zones of improved reservoir properties in natural fractured reservoirs of the compartmentalized deep-lying Paleozoic basement of Western Siberia. The object of research is the Field S, located in the Pudin megaswell and the Nurol depression. Forecasting of improved reservoir properties is carried out on the basis of complex application of seismic facies analysis and tectonic methods. Seismic facies analysis is supposed to emphasize and mapping the depositional environment features of Paleozoic basement rocks and secondary reservoir changes. To distinguish the tectonic features of the studied area, special seismic attribute analysis was verified. There will also be presented the author's work on the quantitative evaluation of the preferential direction of fractures by attributes and verification of data on the results of the electrical microimager interpretation. Complex interpretation of the constructed fracture density map with the results of seismic facies analysis and azimuthal orientation of the fractures superimposed on it made it possible to identify perspective zones of improved reservoir properties in which the optimal directions of horizontal wells were recommended.
