In this paper, a new method for the formation of complex therapeutic electron fields with taking the anatomical features of patients into account has been proposed. This method is based on the use of plastic electron beam collimators that are manufactured by rapid prototyping technique. The analysis of the plastic collimators application efficiency for the formation of an electron field using an ONCOR Impression Plus medical accelerator (Siemens) in a real clinical case has been carried out. The results prove the high efficiency of the proposed method for the formation of clinical electron beams.
