Summary:Title screen
Experimental studies have been carried out on the dependence of the deformation of the width e a on deformation of the length el of unirradiated and irradiated polyethylene (PE) film. It is found that these quantities depend essentially on the rate of loading. An anomalous change in the deformation along the samples length was observed in the stress range of 9-13 MPa. Irradiation with electrons leads to a decrease in deformation and has little effect on the anomalous broadening.
