Summary:Title screen
Paper presents the results of application of ultrasonic Lamb wave technique for detection of impact damages of honeycomb carbon fiber reinforced polymer. The technique is based on piezotransducer network attached to the surface and analyzes the ultrasonic signal deviation due to emergence of damages. The experiments for detection of barely visible impact damages produced by drop-weight method were conducted. The estimated coordinates of damage location were presented and discussed showing the features and drawbacks of the proposed technique. Suggestions for elimination of the limitations and general improving of the ultrasonic data processing algorithms were made.
