Zusammenfassung:Title screen
The possibility of using plastic stretching as a method of reducing the residual stresses in cold expanded thickwalled cylinders is in the focus of this paper. The studies were carried out for the following cases of deformation: 0, 0.5, 1 and 1.5%. The research was carried out using both experimental methods and within the framework of the finite element modeling. The results show good quantitative and qualitative agreement of both approaches. It is shown that the most optimal is plastic stretching with a deformation of about 0.5%.
