Summary:Title screen
The paper describes a high-power pulse generator that provides a sequence of 80-ns pulses (at half amplitude) with an adjustable pause from 200 ns to 400 ns. The maximum amplitude of the first and second pulses is 200 kV and 400 kV, respectively. The generator is based on series-connected forming lines with controlled gas dischargers as switches. A pulsed linear transformer with vacuum insulation is used as an amplifying element.
