Summary:Title screen
The paper presents the results of the carbon steel (0.1% C) structure analysis. This study aimed to identify the structural peculiarities such as porosity and specific structural defects associated with the presence of hydrogen in the carbon steel. Therefore, the steel structure, its initial parameters and after electrolytic hydrogen saturation for 8, 14 and 24 hours are under discussion. The quantitative and qualitative analysis of the results obtained by the optical metallography and atomic forth metallography are given. The results of a uniaxial tension testing of steel specimens before and after an electrolytic hydrogenation are presented.
