Summary:Title screen
Fatigue damages influence the value of nonlinear acoustic parameter in A516-70 carbon steel was studied. Cyclic loading on a three-point bending scheme was performed. Nonlinear acoustic parameter was measured by the electromagnetic acoustic transducer. It was shown that the maximum of nonlinear acoustic parameter corresponds to the zones with maximum deformation. However, crack growth leads to this value decreasing.
