| Summary: | Title screen The features of the molecular structure of Ln containing complexes with the dithiophosphinate R2PS2- (R = i-Bu) and 2,2′-bipyridyl ligands [Ln(2,2′-bipyridyl)((i-Bu)2PS2)2(NO3)] {where Ln = Eu3+(I), Yb3+(II) and Lu3+(III)} in CDCl3 have been studied by 1H NMR techniques. These complexes are of interest due to the prospect of using some of them as fluorescent sensors for biology and medicine. The analysis of the structural parameters found by NMR testifies that the 2,2′-bipyridyl and (i-Bu)2PS2-anions are in the first coordination sphere of a Ln cation. The results obtained are consistent with the X-ray studies of the molecular structure of related complex with Tm3+ in the crystalline phase.
