In practice of teaching Russian Language as foreign the technique of training in audition is least developed.Training in audition assumes stage-by-stage formation of receptive auditive skills during the work withphonetic, lexical and grammatical material, i.e. skills of recognition and understanding of words, phrases,offers, in coherent texts. The receptive nature of audition is in perception, understanding and processing of theheard information that demands, in turn, development of skills of self-checking, self-organization and self-control, the critical attitude towards him, to people around and to the obtained information. The Developmentof Critical Thinking technology (authors of the program - Charles Templ, Ginny Steel, Curt Meredith)representing system of strategy and methodical receptions promotes achievement of such educational resultsas ability to work with the increasing and constantly renewed information stream; to critically comprehendinformation, to interpret it, to understand an essence, an address orientation, the informing purpose; to alterthe volume, a form, sign system of information; to establish associative and almost expedient connectionbetween information messages; to isolate the main thing in an information message, etc. The special course onaudition constructed with use of receptions and strategy of development of critical thinking significantlyoptimizes process of training in Russian as foreign at the advanced stage and allows achieving considerableresults in improvement of skills of audition.
