The paper studies comparative characteristics of the solenoid coil windings, which make assertions about the uniformity and intensity of the magnetic field. In addition, an effect of the solenoid inductance of the coaxial magnetoplasma accelerator on the contribution of the kinetic energy in the initial energy of the system for two different models was considered. The coaxial magnetoplasma accelerator, which had been put into practice, was suggested. The solenoid inductance was determined based on calculating the energy of the magneto static field. The optimal value of the solenoid inductance for two models, in which the kinetic energy reaches a maximum value, was determined. The minimum permissible value of the solenoid inductance of external induction system, below which the high frequency components of the current appeared, was calculated. Differential equations were solved using the fourth-order Runge-Kutta fixed-step method. The test of a model for adequacy was completed by calculation energy balance for system.
