The paper presents the research results of the effect of silica additives with different specific surfaces on the properties of hardened cement paste. The impact of compound and technology factors on the properties of hardened cement paste was studied. The regularities on increasing strength of cement with complex additives of silica fume and nano-SiO2 were analyzed. Peculiarities of structural condition and phase composition of cement with additives were studied using X-ray diffraction and derivatographic analysis. The results show the synergetic effect existing due to joint action of silica additives with different degree of dispersion on 30% increase of cement strength after 28 days of curing compared with the control samples.
