Подведены предварительные итоги внедрения Стратегии развития Национальной системы платежных карт (НСПК) с 2014 по 2018 гг., которая включает в себя 3 этапа. Охарактеризованы этапы внедрения Стратегии развития Национальной платежной системы, на первом из которых создан Операционный платежный клиринговый центр (2015 г.), на втором выпущена платежная карта «МИР» (2015 г.), третий будет направлен на продвижение банковских продуктов на международном рынке (2016–2018 гг.). Приведены участники платежной системы «МИР». Выделены положительные и отрицательные стороны введения собственной платежной системы в России. На практике была оценена работа кобейджинговой карты «МИР» – MasterCard (Maestro) и карты «МИР» и предложены рекомендации по продвижению данного платежного инструмента. The history of establishing of the Russian National payment system has been considered. Preliminary results of the implementation of the Strategy of development of the National payment card system from 2014 to 2018 were described. We also characterize three stages of implementation of the Strategy of the development of the National payment system, during the first of which Operational payments clearing center was established. During the second period the Russian payment card «MIR» is released, and the third will focus on the promotion of banking products in the international market. The participants of the payment system «MIR» were analyzed. Positive and negative aspects of the introduction of Russian own payment system were highlighted. In practice, the work of co-badging card «MIR» – MasterCard (Maestro) and «MIR» was estimated and recommendations on the promotion of this instrument of payment were made.
