Summary:Title screen
An experimental facility for measuring the energy deposition into a gas by a high-current pulsed e-beam using a low-inertia differential pressure transducer is described. It provides for evaluation of the energy absorbed by the gas and investigation of the acoustic waves in a plasma-chemical reactor. The facility design is described and the results of high-current accelerator experiments are presented. The mechanism of the time delay between the e-beam injection and the onset of pressure increase in the reactor is discussed.
