Summary:Title screen
We have observed in details the ignition of the wasted-derived composite fuel based on filter cake of bituminous coal mixed with mass 10% of oil fuel. The effect of the petrochemicals is shown by high speed video recording. The 10X zoom allows to see the accumulation of released volatile gases at the droplet surface inside the oil-shell bubbles. The effect of the volatiles was observed by thermal imaging system that have shown the great jump of the temperature around the droplet at the beginning of the ignition. The principal stages of the fuel combustion were shown by simultaneous monitoring of the temperatures at the surface and in the bulk of the fuel droplet.
