| Summary: | Title screen An analysis of the errors involved in determining the thermophysical characteristics of a special-purpose ceramic material — zirconium carbide — is made. It is shown that the errors of determining the heat capacity and thermal diffusivity of the indicated material under conditions corresponding to the implementation of the laser pulse method vary nonmonotonically depending on the pulse duration. The possibility of attaining minimum values of methodical errors by appropriately selecting the thickness of a sample and of the time of its heating is shown.
