Summary:Title screen
The Monte Carlo method is first used to estimate the contribution of multiple scattering to acoustic signals propagating along vertical and horizontal paths in the planestratified moving turbulent atmosphere. Contribution of multiple scattering to sodar return signals is also analyzed. Numerical estimates are obtained as functions of sodar parameters and atmospheric conditions.
