The article is devoted to developing modern methods of teaching based on actual communication needs among inofon-students at advanced level. The proposed methodology focuses on the process of Russian colloquial vocabulary development by studying the latest internationalisms of Anglo-American origin that are actively functioning in student online discourse and media. The results of psycholinguistic experiments revealed the obstacles of Russian slang lexicon development among foreign students as well as the use of the newest Anglicism prospects in the development of methodological approach aimed at the formation of social and cultural competences of inofon-students.
