| Summary: | Заглавие с экрана The method of neutron activation analysis (NAA) was used for estimation of elementаl composition (Na, Ca, Sc, Cr, Fe, Co, Zn, As, Se, Br, Rb, Sr, Ag, Sb, Cs, Ba, La, Ce, Sm, Eu, Tb, Yb, Lu, Hf, Ta, Au, Th, U) in the fetus, placenta and maternal liver of bank voles inhabiting the vicinity of the largest copper-smelter plant in the Middle Urals (Revda). The concentrations of elements in the liver (as in the background and polluted areas) clear correlated with their level of Clark's crust. Placenta acts as a barrier to Fe, Zn, Cr, Rb, Sb, La, Ce and Sm; at the same time, the concentration of Na, Ca and Br increases. In addition, in the polluted areas the most of elements in the placentas and fetus have accumulated more intensely compared to maternal liver. |
