It is shown that the combined processing of titanium surface, including electroexplosive alloying and subsequent treatment by high-intensity pulse electron beam, is accompanied by formation of the strengthened layer with thickness of ~ 100 μm which microhardness exceeds corresponding characteristics of sample volume by ~10 times, wear resistance exceeds those of sample volume by ~ 7.3 times. Structural researches are carried out and physical nature of increase in strength properties of a material is established
