New international engineering accreditation standardsrecognize the importance of introducing both technical and academic writing and foreign language coursesin engineering curricula. The development of these courses includes its all-in-all optimization based onfundamental competence principles, creative and communicative language teaching approach, effectivemodule course designs, determination of new teaching methods and forms, development of assessmentand evaluation criteria and designing teaching courses in Russian engineering universities.
