Summary:Title screen
This research is focused on the study of absorbing capacity and absorbency of an absorbent wound dressing made of nanostructured graphite as compared with other state-of-the-art types of dressing. Absorbing capacity and absorbency of two types of wound dressings based on nanostructured graphite were studied according to the method by Yu. Abaev in comparison with modern dressings made by various producers. Wound dressing made of nanostructured graphite can effectively evacuate wound discharge providing a “vertical drainage” only, contain wound discharge in the sorption layer for a long time preventing its desorption in the wound and penetrating onto skin.
