Summary:	Title screen The variation of physic-mechanical properties of the functional surfaces with wear resistant coating under clear terms modification of the substrate alloy samples VK8 are analyzed. Substrate was doped with different elements (Ti, Cr, Zr and N) by ion implantation. Wear resistant coating TiN and TiAlN where formed by vacuum arc method.
