Эпистолярность рассматривается как неотъемлемая характеристика карамзинского творческого метода. На основе анализа поэтических и прозаических произведений писателя сделаны выводы о формах проявления эпистолярности, их основных функциях, а также характере взаимосвязи письма как художественной формы с реальной эпистолярной практикой Н. М. Карамзина. The article is devoted to the problem of defining the specificity of existence of an epistolary genre in the heritage of N. M. Karamzin.The epistolarity is considered as an integral characteristic of the Karamzin creative method. On the basis of the analysisof the writer’s poetic and prosaic works the conclusions are made about the forms of manifestation of epistolarity, their mainfunctions, and also the character of interconnection of the letter as a literary form with a real epistolary practice of N.
