A method for approximating the highdimensionality model of a complex heattransfer systemwith time delay by a nonlinear secondorder differential equation is proposed. The modeling results confirming adequacy of the nonlinear properties of the reduced and initial models and their correspondence to thecontrolled plant actual data are presented.
