ZnO/ZnS multilevel nanostructures were prepared using the electrospark erosion(ESE)technique. ZnS nanoparticles were produced via self-propagating high-temperaturesynthesis using stoichiometric mixtures of pure elementary sulfur and Zn nanopowderprepared by the ESE method. According to the XRD analysis data, the phases of ZnO, ZnSwere found in the final synthesis products. The SEM observations show that the obtainedproducts are multilevel structures consisting of ZnO spherical particles covered with ZnSnanorods.
