| Summary: | Title screen In this work, the behavior of a coated material in oxidizing medium is studied under the conditions of heat flux action. It is assumed that the coated material is heated quickly due to high thermal conductivity of metals. This allows neglecting the temperature distribution along the thickness of the coated material. However, the sub problem on the diffusion accompanied by the formation of various oxides is analyzed in two-dimensional formulation. Oxygen can diffuse into the coating by two ways: along the grain boundaries and through volume diffusion. As a result, the distributions of oxide concentrations, local sizes of oxides for different time moments were obtained for various sets of parameters.
