Summary:Title screen
The article deals with the influence of surface treatment of substrates by copper ions on the structure and phase composition of nanocomposite coatings. The coatings were sputtered on titanium substrates by Cu ions using a KVANT- 03MI installation. Investigations were carried out by X-ray, TEM and SEM methods. It was established that intermetallics of the Cu-Ti system were formed in the surface layer of the substrates. It was found that phase composition and surface morphology were dependent on duration of the ion treatment.
