| Summary: | Title screen The possibility to reduce platinum load in polymerelectrolyte membrane electrode assemble (MEA) of fuel cells withsufficient gas permeability and increased electric and protonconductivity using the formation of Pt-C thin catalytic layers onboth surfaces of the membrane as well as on the surface ofcarbon gas diffusion paper by means of magnetron sputtering ofcombined polycrystalline carbon and platinum target has beeninvestigated. It has been shown that magnetron sputtering is avery promising method for creating Pt-C catalytic layers in theMEA with low platinum load in the range of 0.05 mg/cm2 or less. |
