Summary:Title screen
Solid phase method of strontium aluminate synthesis (SrAl[2]O[4]) is based on calcination of the mixture of strontium carbonate (SrCO[3]), aluminum oxide (Al[2][O[3]), oxides of REM (europium, dysprosium) and a mineralizer - borate glass (H[3]BO[3]) at a temperature of 1200-1400 °C within 4-6 hours. We have proposed a technique of thermal shock – rapid heating and rapid cooling of the sample by means of which the duration of synthesis is reduced to 30 minutes.
