На конкретном примере изложен практический опыт создания геоинформационных ресурсов для решения задач управления природопользованием в Томской области, рассмотрены основные проблемы и варианты решения технических задач при создании единой информационной системы по общераспространенным полезным ископаемым Томской области. Natural resources are interconnected with each other and are spread spatially. When chartering particular resource to one user, it directly or proximately affects the interests of another. Under these conditions spatial information imaging is becoming a single opportunity to avoid conflicts in natural resources chartering and to provide rational natural resources management. Natural resources management is a field of public management, which most likely needs a spatial model of data storage. On a regional level when completing an inter-institutional management task, public bodies face the problem of absence of electronic natural resources map of a territory with which a natural object or ecosystem is connected. Several problems that need to be solved at federal and regional levels impede the development of informational resources, which comply with the modern level of management tasks solution for providing rational natural resources management.
