Detecting of vessels and submarines through their noise analysis should be performed quickly and around the clock. A numerical model for detecting narrowband hydroacoustic signals based on the two stages continuous wavelet transform (CWT) is presented. The first stage of the wavelet transformation can be performed at port before. On the ship board only the second stage of the wavelet transform must be performed. This reduces the computation time and speeds up the detection of enemy ships. Reducing hardware costs for making this apparatus for detecting narrow-band hydroacoustic noise signals based on the two stages CWT are shown.
